Carmilla, Guest

Carmilla, Guest is a supplement for Good Society and Penned to Good Society (PtGS) games that adds in an additional connection: Countess Mircalla Karnstein, commonly called Carmilla, a Styrian noble and vampire who thrives on lesbian behaviour. This supplement is suitable for any game that wishes to add a supernatural element into the story, or expand upon their reputation phase (at the cost of strengthening Carmilla’s influence). 

This supplement includes:

• Additional collaboration questions establishing Carmilla’s presence
• Mechanics for how Carmilla acquires and spends resolve tokens
• Changes to the cycle of play to accommodate Carmilla
• Advice on how to use Carmilla, Guest with Good Society and its expansions

Carmilla, Guest requires Good Society or any standalone PtGS game to play.

The majority of this supplement previously appeared in Dracula, Guest. This is because Carmilla, Guest was created as an April Fool’s joke for the Another Day In Habershire game jam. It felt appropriately tongue-in-cheek to take a previously published supplement about a literary vampire (Dracula), and replace any mention of them with a different literary vampire (Carmilla).
