Courtships and Cow-Creamers
A downloadable game
Courtships and Cow-Creamers (C&C) is a tabletop roleplaying game inspired by the “Jeeves” short stories and novels by P. G. Wodehouse (as well as their television adaptations). C&C is intended to tell lighthearted, romping stories about frivolous young people, fearsome elderly relatives, and the (superficially) unflappable staff maintaining a tentative peace between them.
This supplement includes:
- New Collaboration options to support a Wodehousian narrative, including three variations on farce
- The Redoubtable Relative and their One Small Favour, a farcical restyling of the Big Bad and their Evil Plot
- New Backstory elements to establish the major characters’ connections to the manor house and each other
- Changes to the cycle of play to support the earlier introduction of downstairs characters
- “Pockets and Promises”, a farcical playset put together specifically for Courtships and Cow-Creamers (Good Society and Expansion cards required)
Courtships and Cow-Creamers is still in development as a Penned to Good Society (PtGS) game and will be updated periodically. In its current form it requires both Good Society and Good Society: An Expanded Acquaintance to play, both by Storybrewers Roleplaying. The expansions it specifically draws on are Downstairs at the Abbey and Sense, Sensibility & Swordsmanship.
